Your Guide to Renting a Property
You’ve decided you want to rent a property in the beautiful Cotswolds.
When you contact us, we register your full details. We require your name, address, email, telephone contact numbers and details of whom a property is required. This includes children and their ages, pets and the timescale that you have in mind, and of course, your budget. We also take down information about the type of property and your specific requirements.
Once registered you will automatically be sent selected properties based on the information you have provided. We will accompany you to viewings and if you find a property you wish to offer on, we present the offer to the landlord.
On acceptance of an offer, subject to contract, you will be required to complete our “Application for a Tenancy” form. Full referencing will be undertaken by an independent referencing company to include a financial reference, credit check and previous landlords’ reference (if applicable) for each applicant. Offers on properties are accepted subject to references being received and approved by the landlord, and the signing of the tenancy agreement.
Rents are payable in advance and a deposit equivalent to 5 weeks rent is required on all properties. All funds must be cleared before a tenancy can commence, together with receipt of the signed tenancy agreement and approval of your references.
