Nestled in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, The Old Stocks Inn is a beautiful 17th-century coaching inn that really stands out from the crowd

This boutique hotel is luxurious, but not stuffy. Elegant, but not pretentious. Quaint, but not twee. Owner Jim Cockell’s inspired duo, Rich and Charlotte Tuck, are passionate about what they do and have fun doing it. It all adds up to a unique experience for their guests.

Great food and drink is at the heart of The Old Stocks experience. From the freshly ground artisan coffee served with breakfast to the mouth-watering dinner menus and the unique selection of ales, wines and spirits on offer in the bar, everything is about wowing guests with hearty, locally sourced fayre.

The bar is a relaxed, welcoming place to grab an after-work drink, celebrate with a unique cocktail or to enjoy a quick snifter before bed. If you’re feeling peckish, there’s sure to be some of the bar snacks to tickle your fancy.

Serving up seasonal British cuisine with a touch of The Old Stocks’ signature quirkiness, the restaurant offers a new, fresh dining experience that truly tantalises the taste buds. Ian Percival is a chef with enormous flair, the menus and 5 AA stars are a direct reflection of his talent. The Restaurant is open evenings from 6pm until 9.30pm and for Lunch on Saturdays & Sundays from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.

The Old Stocks Inn has 16 stylish bedrooms, all of which blend the original features of the beautiful 17th-century building with contemporary design. Each room is unique and full of character, but they’re all packed with home-from-home comforts to guarantee you a good night’s sleep.

The Old Stocks’ Garden Rooms are paw-fect for a great Cotswold getaway with your dog. Dogs are charged at £15 each per night, and they get a comfy bed and water bowl. The Old Stocks welcomes one medium (labrador size) or up to 2 small dogs per Garden Room, and they are welcome in the Bar, garden and library.

From birthday and anniversary parties to meetings and corporate events, The Old Stocks Inn has a beautiful private dining room that can turn its hand to a range of occasions. As soon as you arrive, the troupe will make sure you and your guests are warmly welcomed and well looked-after.

The Private Dining Room is an ideal setting for anything from an extra special birthday bash to an informal Sunday luncheon. They offer an extra special 3 course dining menu for this room for evening functions and 2/3 course lunch menu for Saturday & Sundays. The space can accommodate a maximum of 12 people and is pet friendly. Call Event Co-ordinator, Alice to discuss specific requirements.

The Old Stocks Inn’s private dining room is a relaxed setting for a team meeting, and the cosy Cotswold Inn provides a great base for an away day or team building exercise.
